Fifteen years ago I went to the Boulder Humane Society looking for a kitty. I walked around the cat room twice, wondering “Which of these is my kitty?” A half grown gray and white cat came to the front of the glass room he was in. He reached his paws up the wall and we made eye contact. We chose each other immediately and he came home with me that night. We were constant companions from then on. We had a cabin in the mountains where he tried to scare the foxes by jumping at them, hid under the bed from bears and stared with curiosity at deer. Four years ago we moved to a condo with a bird bath in the back yard. He loved to lie on the bed and chatter his teeth at the birds. He sat on my lap at the computer, slept with his head on my shoulder at night and cuddled up in our “reading chair” every evening. He was my best buddy. I send him on his way with so much love! ❤️❤️ ❤️, Vicky
